Yesterday I forgot to add what was probably the most popular (and easiest) treat at the party last year – Reese Pieces filled test tubes!

People loved them, eating them all night and taking them home as party favours. By making custom labels you can add to the frightful decor, and maybe even personalize for each guest.

Obviously, you don’t have to use Reese Pieces, but any small candy or chocolate. I just think the pieces look the best, especially when layered properly.

I prefer using the smaller tubes, so one candy fits per layer, but you can go as big as you want.

Our local army surplus store was a great resource for the supplies.

Feel free to give your specimens creative and spooky names (Vampire Repellent, Dragon’s teeth, Haunted Corn or Troll’s teeth etc.)
